After a mid-week match at Supporters' Shield leaders Nashville SC, Sporting Kansas City returns home to host Real Salt Lake at 7:30 p.m. CT on Saturday at Sporting Park where SKC has scored three goals in three straight regular season home games for only the second time in club history.

Tickets are available online at SeatGeek, including the Coca-Cola Family & Friends 4-Pack -- featuring four Price Chopper South Stand tickets, four 20-ounce Coca-Cola products and four concessions items for only $100 -- as well as a Teachers Appreciation Night ticket pack that comes with a custom SKC mug. Ticket holders are encouraged to arrive early for a light-up rally towel giveaway at the gates while supplies last as Saturday's in-stadium festivities will be highlighted by a special halftime light show.

Saturday's showdown renews a longstanding rivalry between Sporting Kansas City and Real Salt Lake highlighted by three meetings in the MLS Cup Playoffs. Sporting notably defeated RSL in the 2013 MLS Cup at Sporting Park, prevailing 7-6 on penalties after a 1-1 draw. Sporting also eliminated RSL in the 2018 Western Conference Semifinals by a 5-3 scoreline on aggregate, while RSL earned a 2-1 comeback win over SKC in the Western Conference Semifinals in 2021.

Following Wednesday's results across MLS on Matchday 30, Sporting KC has been eliminated from playoff contention and will miss the postseason for a third straight year - a first in club history - while Real Salt Lake sits five points below the playoff line with five games remaining.

The visitors arrive in Kansas City with just one win since the World Cup (1-10-4) in MLS play due in part to the worst road record in MLS (1-10-3). RSL will be hoping to end a five-game losing streak away from home and a 12-game winless run on the road (0-9-3) -- both of which are the longest in MLS this season -- on Saturday as the teams meet in Kansas City after Real Salt Lake earned a 3-1 victory over Sporting in April at America First Field.

Led by head coach Pablo Mastroeni, the Real Salt Lake roster has changed significantly since the previous match-up with eight new players acquired during the summer transfer window and the departure of 19-year-old Homegrown Player Zavier Gozo to Crystal Palace in the Premier League. RSL's roster has also been impacted by injuries, including the absence of Designated Player Justen Glad since May and a season-ending knee injury for two-time MLS All-Star Diego Luna. Most recently, 21-year-old centerback Luc de Fougerolles -- who debuted last weekend on loan from Fulham after representing Canada at the FIFA World Cup this summer -- exited Wednesday's match with an injury after scoring moments earlier in a 1-1 draw against San Jose.

Real Salt Lake's attack is led by rookie SuperDraft selection Sergi Solans with 14 goal contributions (11 goals, three assists), Designated Player Morgan Guilavogui with 10 goal contributions (two goals, eight assists) and Uruguayan international Juan Manuel Sanabria -- who also played in the World Cup this summer -- with nine goal contributions (one goal, eight assists).

The Western Conference match-up will be available to watch in English (Josh Eastern and Lloyd Sam) and Spanish (Jesus Acosta) on Apple TV in addition to local radio coverage on Sports Radio 810 WHB (Blake Aerni and Jon Kempin) and La Grande 1340 AM (Josue Orantes and Diego Gutierrez) with audio streams in the SKC mobile app.
