Missael Rodriguez's fantastic free kick nominated for MLS NEXT Pro Goal of Matchweek 10

Sporting Kansas City II forward Missael Rodriguez and his beautiful free kick equalizer against Colorado Rapids 2 on Sunday night is up for MLS NEXT Pro Goal of Matchweek 10.

The 23-year-old's banger is up against goals from LAFC 2's Jude Terry, FC Cincinnati 2's Leo Orejarena and Dynamo Dos' Mattheo Dimareli in a poll on MLS NEXT Pro's Instagram that will be up for the next 72 hours.

Rodriguez's third goal of the campaign came in the 22nd minute after Kashan Hines drew a foul outside the box that saw Grant Gilmore sent off. SKC II was down 1-0 before Rodriguez struck a gorgeous, right-footed ball over the wall and past the diving keeper to even the score. Hines would go on to find the match winner in the 36th before Gael Quintero locked things up with a third goal in the 39th off a corner kick. The 3-1 win was Sporting's second of the year and first one away from home.

A Chicago native and Chicago Fire Academy alum, Rodriguez has started every match for head coach Lee Tschantret in his first season with Sporting KC II, providing a foreboding presence on the wing and veteran leadership in the locker room. He is tied for the team lead in goals with three and leads the team in shots (37) and shots on target (10).

SKC II and Rodriguez will remain on the road this week when they face North Texas SC at Choctaw Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Saturday night. The match will begin at 7 p.m. CT and can be streamed live on MLSNEXTPro.com and for free in the OneFootball App,
