Established in 2007, the Sporting KC Academy is an MLS Academy comprised of six teams. Many of our academy players come from the KC metro area, while others come from around the world. With the growth of the Academy and the success of the program, we now have several players seeking to relocate from various states and countries to be part of our academy. With this transformation, we are looking for host families to welcome these academy players into their homes. The host families will provide a safe and supportive environment that will allow the player to focus on his academics and soccer achievements.

The Adjemian Family
The Adjemian Family was recognized as our host family during the Sporting KC vs LA Galaxy game on May 4, 2025. The Adjemian Family is currently hosting U18 player Hetzli Rodriguez.
The Hare Family
The Hare Family was recognized as our host family during the Sporting KC vs St. Louis game on April 5, 2025. The Hare Family is currently hosting U16 player Abraham Gutierrez.
The Cole Family
The Cole Family was recognized as our host family during the Sporting KC vs LAFC game on March 22, 2025. The Cole Family is currently hosting U15 player Brixton Welsh.
The Friedrichsen Family
The Friedrichsen Family was recognized as our host family during the Sporting KC vs Minnesota United match on March 15, 2025. The Friedrichsen Family is currently hosting U18 player Makhi Francis.
