Sporting Kansas City announced today that the club has signed Sporting KC II defender Pierre Lurot to a short-term agreement ahead of the club’s road match against the Portland Timbers on Saturday night at Providence Park. The call up marks the fourth and final available short-term agreements of the 2026 season for Lurot.

Lurot was part of a Michigan Wolverines side that advanced to the Big Ten Championship final and punched a ticket to the NCAA Tournament in 2024. Lurot previously started his college journey at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri, before transferring to the University of Indianapolis.
Kickoff for the match against the Timbers at Providence Park is set for 9:30 p.m. CT on Saturday night with the game broadcast on Apple TV, Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Grande 1340 AM.
