Sporting Kansas City announced today that the club has loaned centerback Ethan Bartlow to the Tampa Bay Rowdies in the USL Championship for the remainder of the 2026 season. Sporting KC retains the right to recall Bartlow at any point during the season.
Bartlow, 26, joined Sporting KC as a free agent ahead of the 2026 campaign and has made 12 appearances for the club across all competitions this season.
Bartlow spent the first five seasons of his professional career with the Houston Dynamo, logging 96 appearances in all competitions while helping the Dynamo win the 2023 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup with appearances in five of the team’s six matches in the tournament.
