Sporting KC II midfielder Zamir Loyo Reynaga called up to U-15 US Boys' National Team for 2026 Vlatko Markovic International Tournament in Croatia

U.S. Under-15 Boys’ National Team head coach Ross Brady has selected a 22-player roster for the team’s upcoming training camp and participation in the 2026 Vlatko Marković International Tournament from May 14-24 in Varaždin, Croatia. Included on the roster is Sporting Kansas City II midfielder and SKC Academy product Zamir Loyo Reynaga.

During the tournament, the USA will face Korea Republic on May 19 at Sveti Martin na Muri Stadium, take on Switzerland on May 20 at Graničar Kotoriba Stadium and finish the group stage against Portugal on May 22 back at Sveti Martin na Muri Stadium. All three group stage matches kick off at 11:30 a.m. local time / 5:30 a.m. ET. The USA will then round out the tournament with a placement match on May 24, at a time and location to be determined.

The international training camp is part of the Federation’s continued focus on the U.S. Way philosophy, which emphasizes increased programming for Youth National Teams to create more opportunities for young players to advance through the pathway to the senior National Team with the goal of representing their country at a world championship.  

All players are born after Jan. 1, 2011.

This will be Loyo Reynaga's second stint with the USYNT in 2026 after he joined the U-15s for the team’s international training camp in Larnaca, Cyprus in February. The midfielder has also played with the Mexican Youth National Team, playing with El Tri in the summer of 2025.

The Las Vegas, Nevada native became the youngest player in club history to represent Sporting Kansas City II when he debuted against Ventura County FC on Sept. 28, 2025, at 14 years and 251 days old. He made two appearances for SKC II, coming on as a substitute in the team's Decision Day matchup with MNUFC 2. The 15-year-old signed a contract with Sporting KC II and the Sporting KC first team on February 5 ahead of the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season. He has started two of seven appearances for SKC II this season, scoring one goal.
