Today, the Kansas City Star reported that left-sided attacker Ryan Smith was injured at training.
After checking with the medical staff, we can confirm that Smith was not seriously injured. He suffered a strained knee after a collision while his leg was planted, but an MRI was not required.
Smith will be re-examined Wednesday before training. Due to lingering soreness, his status for Wednesday's training is still up in the air.
