Sporting Kansas City pushed pass the Houston Dynamo on Wednesday in 2011 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup qualifying with a 1-0 victory that took two overtimes to decide. Rookie striker C.J. Sapong scored in the 92nd minute for the game-winning goal and goalkeeper Eric Kronberg made six saves in the shutout.
