Sporting Kansas City's 10-game road trip to start the 2011 season continues on Saturday as Sporting KC visits the Columbus Crew in an Eastern Conference match-up. The Crew (1-1-2) are tied for fourth position in the East, leading KC (1-1-1) by a single point early in the 2011 season.
Columbus leads the all-time series 19-17-5 with an 11-8-3 mark in home matches, but Sporting Kansas City won the last regular season meeting with a 1-0 road victory last season in which Sporting KC striker Teal Bunbury scored his first MLS goal. The two teams also met in Sporting Kansas City's first 2011 pre-season game in February, drawing 2-2 in Phoenix, Arizona.
