Sporting Kansas City continue the 2011 season at 6 p.m. CT on Saturday with their first ever match against the expansion Vancouver Whitecaps FC. The game will be televised locally on KSMO-TV as both sides are 1-1-0 on the year and coming off losses last weekend. Sporting KC fell 3-2 at Chicago, while Vancouver suffered a 1-0 loss at Eastern Conference leaders Philadelphia.
The KC Cauldron will again be hosting a watch party for fans in the KC area at Johnny's Tavern in the downtown Power & Light District. SportingKC.com will also provide another live chat beginning at 5:30 p.m. CT to act as in-game headquarters for Twitter updates, fan commentary and match analysis from KC Soccer Show host Josh Whisenhunt.
